Additional Information:
- Position type: Permanent Part-time, 60hrs/fortnight
- Internal job title: Sales Generalist
- Work model: Hybrid – 3 days on-site from IKEA Perth, 2 days from home, once established in the role.
- Working hours: availability required between 9:00am – 10:00pm (AEST) weekdays and alternating weekends.
- Work from home requirements: A stable and fast internet connection is essential.

Team vision ( title) About this work areaTeam vision (text) As a Customer Service & Sales Representative your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Handling inbound customer contacts via telephone, webchat, email and live video calls to create a great customer experience and build trust in the IKEA brand.
- Supporting remote selling by generating leads, assisting with planning and guiding customers through the purchasing process.
- Understanding our customers’ needs and offering tailored home furnishing solutions – including proposing add-on products, cross-selling and upselling.
- Gather valuable feedback from customers and relay it to relevant teams within the organisation to drive product and service improvements.
Working collaboratively with other teams and departments to drive continuous improvement and implement retention initiatives, including sharing information on special offers, loyalty programs, and targeted campaigns.Let’s connect Who you areLet´s connect As a Customer Service & Sales Representative you are or have:
- Experience in a call centre or phone-based sales environment, ideally with both inbound and outbound calling experience is preferred.
- A passion for home furnishings and a drive for sales growth within a team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- High accuracy and attention to detail, especially in data entry tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, coupled with a friendly and professional phone demeanour.
- Proven track record of meeting team KPIs and sales targets.
- Proficiency in computer systems and technical tools.
- A collaborative mindset, eager to share knowledge and insights within a team setting.
