You will experience, and be part of, putting technologies in place that support the patient journey in the UK & Ireland healthcare system.Working as an Customer Operations EngineerAs a Customer Operations Engineer, you are a technical expert who enables Sectra to deliver products and services to our customers. You will be part of the Customer Operations department and work closely with senior system engineers, project managers and application specialists to deploy, manage and maintain the interfaces using interoperability frameworks and standards. You will develop a strong understanding of Hospital IT systems, communication and interoperability frameworks and standards that can be leveraged across the entire Health IT domain.You often work with customers in a specific region, but since we follow the same processes across the Sectra world, this is also a role with plenty of opportunities to work abroad for a shorter or longer period of time.Your main responsibilities include:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support of Sectra’s products
- Install and configure our solutions, collaborating with 3rd
party suppliers and sub contractors to facilitate the deployment of hardware and software applications * Deploy and maintain interfaces that facilitate data exchange between Sectra and 3rd party systems
- Perform regular security monitoring, maintenance, software upgrades and resource optimization as required
- Create, update and review technical documentation related to our systems, aligning them with our standards and best practices.

- Have at least three years of university education in computer engineering or equivalent with a strong academic performance
- Have a genuine interest in IT systems in the healthcare industry and you are attracted to the idea of making a difference for patients around the world
- Fluency in English
- Proven experience in deploying or supporting IT infrastructure or software applications
- Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
We consider it a great asset if you:
- Experience with medical IT systems, like PACS, RIS, LIMS or EPR, with relevant knowledge with either Radiology or Pathology systems
- Familiarity with DICOM, HL7 or any other healthcare interoperability standards
- Understanding of MS SQL Server, Networking, Windows Failover Clustering or cloud technologies
- Some experience with integration engines like Mirth, Rhapsody or Cloverleaf
- Speak other languages in addition to English
