Job Summary Job Summary The Leuzinger High School Environmental Careers Academy is seeking a Career Technical education teacher to specialize in the area of Environmental/Natural Resources within the Energy, Environment, and Utilities industry sector. The Environmental Careers Academy is a small learning community centered on multiple areas across environmental science and natural resource management, including: urban planning, public health, wildlife conservation, green products, building, transportation, data collection through GIS, landscape design, and increasing access to green spaces. ECA Career Technical Education courses include Introduction to Sustainability, Environmental Systems, Green Urban Design, and two dual-enrolled El Camino community college courses. Requirements / Qualifications

• BA/BS (preferably in Environmental Studies or related field) *3+ years professional experience in an environmental science field *CTE Credential or credential eligibility *If not already credentialed, candidate must have established work experience eligibility by time of hiring, enroll in coursework, and commit to credential completion to be considered for employment
• Copy/Screenshot of Career Technical Education (CTE): Energy, Environment and Utilities Credential from the CTC website (or proof of eligibility for the CTE credential) • English Learner Authorization (or eligibility for an Emergency CLAD or English Learner Waiver) • Copy of CBEST test result or equivalent (or acknowledgement to pass the CBEST in one year) • Copy of Official Transcripts • Letter of Introduction/Cover Letter • Resume • Minimum of 3 Letters of Recommendation dated within the last 24 months are required • References required WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REOPEN, READVERTISE, DELAY, OR CANCEL FILLING THIS position
