This is a permanent full-time opportunity.This position is located in Killam, Alberta. You must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided.Benefits & Perks:
- $75,000 – $100,000 annual salary

Responsibilities:
- Manage all daily branch operations and lead a high-performing team
- Oversee lending activities, including reviewing and approving credit applications within authorized limits
- Ensure compliance with credit policies, regulations, and AML/FINTRAC guidelines
- Coach, train, and evaluate staff; handle hiring, scheduling, and performance management
- Monitor loan performance, collections, and delinquency, escalating complex cases as needed
- Deliver personalized financial advice and support member outreach through visits and calls
- Communicate policy updates and operational changes to staff
- Drive service excellence and continuous process improvement across branch functions
- Collaborate with internal departments on budgeting, reporting, and strategic initiatives
- Ensure procedural compliance through regular audits and quality checks
- Support the Senior VP of Operations with additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of lending or credit experience within a financial institution
- Proven leadership skills, including team management, coaching, and motivation
- Strong understanding of lending, retail banking operations, and accounting functions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and resolve conflicts professionally
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking capabilities
- Sound judgment and the ability to work independently under pressure
- Positive team attitude and strong work ethic
- Comfortable supervising staff, delegating tasks, and prioritizing workloads
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
- Professional demeanor and commitment to exceptional member service
