Creative Strategist – Freelance (Performance Creative Team)Remote (UK-based) | Freelance contract | Start: ASAP | £300 p/d Outside IR35I’m hiring for a fast-growing performance creative team that partners with some of the UK’s most exciting DTC and eCommerce brands, and they’re on the lookout for a freelance Creative Strategist to help supercharge their output.This is a role for someone who lives and breathes paid social, understands what makes people stop scrolling, and knows how to turn insight into ideas that convert. You’ll play a key part in shaping ad creative across TikTok and Meta, leading the process from concept to testing framework.What you’ll be doing:Leading creative ideation and briefing for TikTok and Meta ads – from hooks and angles to structure and messagingDeveloping performance-led creative strategies tailored to brand goals and platform behavioursBuilding out testing roadmaps and modular storytelling frameworks to optimise creative performanceConducting competitor, audience and trend analysis to uncover content opportunitiesWorking collaboratively with editors, UGC creators and paid media teams to bring ideas to lifePresenting creative thinking and strategy clearly to both internal teams and clientsWe’re looking for someone who:Has hands-on experience in creative strategy for paid social (TikTok + Meta essential)Understands what drives performance in short-form video ads and UGCHas worked with DTC or eCommerce brands, ideally in a fast-paced agency or freelance settingIs comfortable creating and evolving testing plans based on creative learningsKeeps up with TikTok trends, formats and creators — and knows how to use them smartlyCan communicate ideas clearly and back up strategy with logic and data
Expected salary
£200 – 300 per day
