As a full-time cover supervisor, your responsibilities include:

• Keeping an eye on and running the classroom when the teacher is not there
• Ensuring that every student is following the assigned tasks and staying on task
• Assisting pupils who might need more assistance
• Establishing a fast rapport with personnel and students
• Planning, marking, or active instruction are NOT necessary

To be successful in the Cover Supervisor role, you must:

• Must live within the UK and be authorised to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (willing to get one)
• Good reading and numeracy abilities. Math and English proficiency at the GCSE level of C/NVQ3 or above
• Strong communication abilities to interact with kids, parents, and other staff members in writing and vocally
• Capacity to function as a team member
• A comprehension and consciousness of child protection
• Proficient use of technology and knowledge on how to best utilise it to enhance instruction
