Cost Accountant | $31-33/hr

Cost Accountant Job Duties:

• Support the financial operations of the company – ensuring accuracy in general ledger activities, and maintaining compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Help analyze cost data, identify trends, and advise departments on cost optimization. Develop and maintain accurate product cost models.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis. Oversee inventory valuation.
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).

Cost Accountant Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics or similar ERP Systems
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal controls preferred
• Self-driven and able to work efficiently in a high-volume environment

Schedule: Hybrid – Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm

• 1-2 days in the office required

Pay: $31-33/hr depending on experience
