Salary: £32,000 Depending on experience

In this vital role, you will enhance the candidate experience from attraction and recruitment through to onboarding, ensuring we secure top talent and improve retention across our business. Working collaboratively with Line Managers, you’ll respond to resourcing needs with agility and innovation, using tools like SAP SuccessFactors to make the recruitment process seamless and effective.You will play a key role in driving best practices and engaging with candidates through various channels, creating engaging job adverts, and connecting with candidates through social media, job boards, and local networks. With a focus on building strong relationships, you’ll help address recruitment challenges and develop a robust talent pipeline. - Work with Line Managers to understand roles and resourcing requirements
- Use SAP SuccessFactors to manage the candidate journey to hire the best talent
- Keep up-do-date with best practice, using this to identify areas to improve the candidate journey and take action to make these improvements
- Use multiple attraction methods to engage with quality candidates
- Review job descriptions, adverts, online content and recruitment tools to ensure they are up-to-date and promote the employer brand
- When needed, support line managers with sifting, screening, arranging interviews, interviewing and pro-actively searching for candidates
- Identify recruitment risks and work with line managers for solutions to minimise them
- Oversee the on-boarding process, including references, DBS, Right to Work and ensure relevant paperwork is completed
- Feedback opportunities for improvement within the induction and probation period to the L&D Team
- Support line managers with advice and guidance, to develop recruitment capability and confidence
- Build a Talent Bank to share talent across the business
- Develop relationships with local organisations including colleges, jobcentres and job fayres, to promote Cooplands and network with candidates
- Collate, analyse and present Recruitment MI to support informed business decisions, workforce planning and improve KPI performance
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and promote inclusivity throughout Cooplands

- A strong in-house or agency recruitment background
- Proven track record of volume recruitment within a multi-site organisation
- Experience of using multiple attraction methods, including social media and job boards
- Experience of developing adverts, online content and selection tools
- Confident use of MS Teams, Sharepoint and an applicant tracking system, ideally SAP SuccessFactors
- Strong communication, influencing and relationship building skills
- Able to balance pace with an engaging candidate experience
- Demonstrate ability to plan, prioritise and manage time to meet deadlines across multiple projects
- Full driving licence, willing to travel, adaptable and flexible with regards to hours
