We are seeking an experienced Controls Technician for a direct hire day shift opportunity with highly competitive pay and an outstanding benefit package.Primary Responsibilities:
Program, Troubleshoot/Repair, and Maintain Allen Bradley PLC systems
Install and repair industrial electronic equipment; 480V 3 phase power distribution, Input/output networks, Data highways, Variable speed drives
Process control systems, Interpret and understand the fault readings on controllers, PLC’s, and variable frequency drives, and take appropriate corrective actions.
Provide shift support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls, and equipment operation
Perform projects, install new electrical equipment and assist in production
General support of the ongoing maintenance functions on site will be expected when needed
Assist/lead electrical/controls integration of capital projects throughout the plant
Experience/Requirements:
3-5 years maintenance experience
Ambition to seek further training and / or education to meet the needs of growing responsibilities
Must be able to read electrical schematics
PLC and drive experience a must with a good understanding of ladder logic and it’s underlying principles
