What a Controls Engineer will do:

• Design and develop control systems (PLC programming, HMI design, electrical schematics)
• Implement and maintain control systems for safety and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with teams to resolve system issues
• Prepare technical documentation and manuals
• Provide technical support and training to staff
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure compliance with codes and standards
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources

What you need to be a Controls Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in control systems, preferably in manufacturing
• Proficiency in PLC programming, HMI design, and CAD software is a plus
