MAP Legal are looking for skilled and experienced contentious construction lawyers with a passion for handling complex disputes.We’re looking for dynamic and driven professionals to join prestigious contentious construction teams at national and international firms in London.About the role:As a Contentious Construction Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in advising and representing clients involved in construction disputes. Your expertise will cover a range of contentious matters, including:

• Construction contract disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Delay and disruption claims
• Insurance and bonding issues
• Arbitration, mediation, and litigation
• Risk management in high-stakes projects

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified solicitor with at least 2 years PQE experience in contentious construction law
• Proven track record in managing construction disputes, ideally with a focus on high-value or complex cases
• Strong litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver results for clients
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• A keen interest in the construction sector and emerging industry trends
