Are you organised, customer focused and have a keen eye for detail? If so, this is a great role for you!Royal Holloway are seeking to work from mid-June to mid-September. (Click on the link to see the Job Description and Person specification).The role will be to support the Conference & Catering operations team, ensuring the overall smooth running of the event, and creating memorable experiences for guests / delegates. It is an extremely varied role, in which, responsibilities can include anything from setting-up catering stations to assisting with any requests the conference organiser has from arrival to departure.The expectations are high, as are our standards. To be successful in this post you will need:

  • Strong communication skills who can converse with a diverse client base
  • To be a positive person with a ‘can do’ attitude (be proactive, not reactive)
  • To be a true team player who thrives in a fast-paced event and catering environment
  • A genuine passion for events and hospitality with a focus on delivering fantastic customer service

  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Flexible with working hours (i.e. a variety of day, evening and weekend shifts)

Experience in the events / catering / hospitality industry is preferred, however on-the-job training will be provided – a positive attitude is a must!What we offer:
