The Community Program Internship is designed to support NSEA’s Program Team by facilitating environmental stewardship opportunities throughout Whatcom County for students and the larger community. Depending on the season, programming occurs on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Ideal candidates will be available Saturdays for volunteer restoration events and have some availability midweek to participate in other projects and programs.
The dates of this position are May 31 – September 13. This includes a mandatory 1-day orientation on May 31. In June and July, the schedule would include Saturdays (6am-2pm) and some Wednesdays (7am12pm). In August and September, the schedule shifts to Fridays (8am-3pm) and Saturdays (8am-3pm). Weekly hours will vary based on availability and program schedule.
