Wherever works for you, works for us.What you’d be doing in this roleAs Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that’s all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you’ll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.At the moment, this role is focused on:

  • Community Program Management: Lead the growth and engagement of the Education Community program and Teachers online group, leveraging deep local cultural understanding.
  • Online & Offline Events: Organize and execute impactful online and offline events-meetups, workshops, and participation in local education conferences-to drive Canva for Education adoption.
  • Content & Engagement Strategy: Create and deliver culturally relevant educational content that aligns with our marketing goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Growth Marketing and Social teams to conceptualize, plan, and execute integrated campaigns.
  • Expand Canva’s ambassador community: Cultivate and expand our Canvassador community-volunteers who build and sustain local Canva communities while spreading Canva’s passion.
  • Build a network: Collaborate with partners local associations and organizations to drive engagement and enhance community initiatives.
  • User Growth & Awareness: Grow the active user base and increase awareness of Canva for Education through data-driven marketing and competitive benchmarking.
  • Stay informed and share local insights: Act as the local expert on education trends, using this knowledge to boost brand awareness and inspire creative marketing campaigns.
  • Support Education Sales: Collaborate with the education sales team to identify growth opportunities within France’s largest school systems.

You’re probably a match if

  • You possess deep experience in community management with a proven track record of growing and engaging thriving communities.
  • You are experienced in senior marketing roles, particularly in education or edtech.
  • You are skilled with community management tools (Canva, Facebook Groups, Discord, Hubspot, Mailchimp, Monday.com, Google Suite, Looker).
  • You have experience event planning and coordination for both online and offline events.
  • You are a confident public speaker with experience in facilitating webinars and workshops
  • You are a creative thinker with content creation experience, including video editing, and a deep understanding of social platforms and trends.
  • You have strong analytical skills, turning complex datasets into actionable insights, with a deep understanding of Canva’s audiences.
  • You have excellent cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with sales, growth, and social teams, and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • You are proficient in balancing long-term strategy with short-term needs, adapting quickly to market trends, while focusing on data-driven marketing.
  • You are a self-starter with strong execution and delivery skills, thriving in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
  • You build and maintain strong internal relationships within Canva to support collaboration and align with company goals.
  • You are experienced developing and maintaining relationships with partners as well as collaborating with government organizations and agencies.
  • You have excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or higher preferably in marketing, with a strong data-driven and insights driven marketing mindset.
