As part of the growing business, the Commercial department is looking to reinforce itself by hiring a Commercial Specialist in our office in Paris.First, the Commercial Specialist will integrate the Commercial Department to support commercial managers in the delivery of competitive, high quality and fast-track technical and commercial proposals.Then, depending on opportunities, the Commercial Specialist will integrate some offshore projects to participate in the operations, onboard vessels across several countries. The aim here is to get field experience combined with a very wide and sharp knowledge of the business. Both experiences will help the ideal candidate to evolve as commercial manager on a long-term view. Responsibilities also include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of presentation material, standard tender material, and written correspondence
  • General administrative support including taking and publishing meeting minutes, preparing letters, reports and presentations as directed.
  • Maintaining archives, databases, standard tender material, and other information and material used by the Marketing and Sales Department
  • Providing administrative support in tendering, from receipt of tender invitations to compilation of the tender material, preparation of the tender, and through to tender submission
  • Management of internal interfaces within to request and chase input data from technical, legal, EHSQ, finance and offshore departments.
  • Manage externals interfaces such as subcontractors and third parties as required.
  • Actively participate in Tender approval and handover meetings with management team.
  • Assist Commercial Managers in the costing of the proposals and contracts review.
  • Organizing and participation at regional trade shows and exhibitions

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or Ecole d’ingénieur
  • Strong Technical Background such as mechanical engineering, hydrodynamics, Survey, seismic, ROV/AUV, Subsea Engineering,
  • A first experience in offshore industry is a plus
  • Experience in sales and bid support is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to demanding deadlines.
  • Strong English verbal and written communications skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task in a challenging environment.
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel and join offshore crews for projects.
  • Authorized to work in France.
