Co-op, Human Resources Coordinator

The Co-op, HR Coordinator acts as a member of the HR Operations team, and assists with HR initiatives and special projects in the areas of HR operations, employee relations, and projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and distribute incoming emails and enquiries to the HR Mailbox

  • Complete verification of employment letters

  • Processing criminal background checks for new hires

  • Provide HR support for various initiatives and projects

  • Manage Ricoh’s employee recognition program inquiries

  • Provide support on initiatives with Internal Communications and Learning & Development

  • Manage analytics for new hire & exit survey results

  • Create and manage responses to employer reviews on Glassdoor and Indeed

  • Act in compliance with all applicable employment legislation across Canada and Ricoh Canada Inc. policies;

  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):

  • Enrolled in University or College with a stream in Human Resource Management

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment is an asset

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to learn new skills quickly

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communications

  • Comfortable working independently and in a team

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications

  • Excel proficiency
