DESCRIPTIONHere at AWS we are currently hiring highly technical cloud computing consultants to help our partners develop technical expertise and capacity, while also collaborating with our customers and partners on key engagements. Our consultants will deliver proof-of-concept projects, provide recommendations to customers, and lead implementation projects. These professional services engagements will focus on key such as, web applications, enterprise applications, HPC, batch processing and big data, archiving and disaster recovery, education and government.Key job responsibilities
As Staff Consultant you will deliver independently and also deliver as part of larger teams.You will work with customers and partners internalizing their context while using your business and technical skills to design solutions based on requirements and constraints. You will own and complete key tasks and deliverables, and collaborate with others to define and implement optimal, complete solutions based on stakeholders needs.You will work towards customer business outcomes, ensuring there is a strong connection between delivery activities and business objectives.Amazon aims to be the most customer centric company on earth. – Demonstrated consulting skills, ideally through previous roles as a Consultant or Architect.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, fluent English skills.
– Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– BS level technical degree with Computer Science or Math background.
– Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale IT projects including definition and execution of successful project controls.
– Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
