Clinical Consultant Pharmacist – Victoria, BC– Flexible hours of work are Monday through Friday from approximately 9-5 PM (you would work a 40-hour workweek encompassing travel time to and from sites)

Clinical Consultant Pharmacist – Victoria, BC– Ensuring compliance with BC College of Pharmacy requirements
– Ensuring service excellence in pharmacy service delivery at long-term care homes by educating and consulting with nurses and other HCPs
– Conducting medication reviews and auditing distribution
– Demonstrating leadership and collaborative abilities in order to establish strong relationships with partner organizations
– Visiting homes as required in order to perform clinical consulting responsibilities, in addition to providing clinical services virtually or by phone
– Collaborating with all pharmacy team members to ensure medication orders are dispensed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner
– Completing daily tasks following workplace policies and procedures
– Consulting with pharmacy management on unresolved issues
– Conducting medication regimen/profile reviews and documents recommendations
– Assisting in maintaining and monitoring pharmacy inventory
– Participating in training and support for pharmacy team members and engages in continuing education
– Preparing the compounding medications as needed and maintains a clean and safe work environmentQualifications
Clinical Consultant Pharmacist – Victoria, BC– Licensed Pharmacist in BC and in good standing with the College of Pharmacy (recent grads are encouraged to apply)
– Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for building relationships and providing excellent service for all patients
– Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
– As travel is a requirement for this position, possession of a vehicle and valid driver’s license are mandatory
– Injection certification is preferred
– Ability to work productively in an autonomous role
– Computer savvy, ideally with experience using Kroll; other proprietary computer system(s) will be used and training providedSummary
