Description:The Fife Area-Wide Psychology Service is a large (120 wte) well-provided service including adult, child, LD and clinical health specialties, with extensive involvement in training, research and service development. There are close links with D. Clin.Psych and MSc courses and CPD and research initiatives are well supported.The Child and Family speciality has over 30 staff; clinical psychologists, CAAPs and Assistant psychologists, as well as trainee clinical psychologists and CAAPs. The specialty provides input to Early Intervention/Primary Care, CAMHS, Paediatrics and Neurodevelopmental Services.We have a 0.8 WTE permanent post available for a suitably qualified Clinical Associate (Masters in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People) to work within the Child and Family Psychology Service. This post is embedded in the specialist CAMHS team for children and young people who have experienced sexual trauma / are care experienced. The service is a well established multi-disciplinary team with psychology, psychotherapy, social work and nursing colleagues. Under supervision from a clinical psychologist you will provide assessment and intervention as well as being involved in the delivery of group programmes and service development.
