Join a community that cares about you!More about the teamBased at Hynland House, you will be working as part of the Cleaning Team. This is an exciting time to join a growing business area.More about your roleYou will be responsible for the cleaning of communal areas in student accommodation and will also assist the wider Derwent FM team in delivering exceptional facilities management services to both customers and clients.With a focus on customer satisfaction, you will take part in weekly servicing and end of tenancy deep cleans. Monitoring stock levels and assisting contractors on site is also desired.At Places for People, we are committed to safe recruitment so a basic DBS check is mandatory. This role is for 20 hours per week with shift patterns of 10am – 2pm. Staff will be required to work weekends during the summer turn around, 24th Aug- 1st Sept (Overtime is available during this period).For more Information, please download the attached Job Profile.More about youThe ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role. Experience of the safe use of cleaning equipment and good communication skills are also desired.Experience & Skills

  • Experience in a similar role preferably within a university/ school,
  • Experience of the safe use of cleaning equipment equipment and machinery,
  • Good communication skills,
  • Able to follow instructions and procedures
  • A positive attitude.
