The VacancyClean and Clear OperativeYou will be responsible for undertaking mould treatment, painting and minor damp prevention in tenants properties and empty properties, you will also be responsible for clearing and cleaning empty properties (voids) including external spaces and outside of the property this will include checking and clearing loft spaces, removing all furniture, white goods, carpets and general waste.What you’ll be doingApplying mould treatment.Treating low level damp.Removing defective decoration damage by mould.You will assist with the removal of household goods and personal effects following a customer’s tenancy coming to an end.You will maintain a high standard off cleanliness within the homes you are responsible for; making sure it meets health & safety requirements and is left in a suitable state for trade operatives to work in.Change locks & fit key safes’ making sure the home is secureClear & tidy the gardens and external spaces, outsides of the homes e.g. strimming, cutting grass, hedge cutting, removing rubble, filling ponds & levelling soilYou will remove any items left within the home and make sure that they are disposed of correctly following health and safety guidance andYou will be responsible for maintaining appropriate documentation and records for any weigh in waste, in accordance with Great Places Environmental Management Policies and Procedures.Treating our homes with respect maintaining high standards of health and safety & reporting any concerns to your line manager.You will look after the equipment provided to you keeping it in clean and fit working condition.What you’ll needA full clean drivers licenceAbility to work as part of a team or on your ownAbility to manage your own time and work to deadlines.Similar experience ideal but not essentialDemonstrate a positive can do attitudeA flexible approach to the working dayWhat we give you in return for your hard work and commitmentPension ¦DC Scheme (up to 10% contribution from both colleague and Great Places)WPA ¦Healthcare auto enrolled at no contribution level with £1250 of savings available- option to increase & add on family membersThe Market Place ¦high street, restaurant & supermarket discounts, gym memberships, cycle to work, smart tech loans and much moreAnnual Leave ¦Start at 26 days annual leave, increasing up to 30 days + Bank HolidaysLottery ¦ Monthly draw with 1st @ £250, 2nd @ £75 and 3rd @ £50Savings Club ¦ You can put aside money each month for 11 months to help you save for that special something (pays out in Novembers salary)At Great Places we believe the wellbeing of our colleagues is vital to enable them to deliver to great services, all your benefits can be used inside and outside of work.For the purposes of our van fleet insurance you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21 and complete an on-line driver monitoring Assessment prior to starting your role.
