Driver Hire Edinburgh City is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 drivers to work with a variety of clients in Edinburgh and around the central belt.The Role:

• This role is on an ad-hoc basis (As and when) we can offer various number of hours per week depending on your needs/wants.
• Opportunities for immediate starts pending successful registration and interviewing.

Delivery types include (but are not limited to):

• Food produce
• Steel
• Pallets
• Plants/shrubbery
• Building materials
• Waste collection

Requirements:

• Licence: Valid and in-date CPC and Digi Tachograph card
• Experience: Experience in driving an LGV1 vehicle
• Licence Points: No more than 6 points , no endorsements over 3 points
• Endorsements: Cannot accept candidates with CD, DD, IN, DR codes due to insurance stipulations

Pay & Benefits:

• Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.30 PAYE per hour
• Overtime (after 8 hours): £19.06 PAYE per hour
• Minimum Pay: 8 hours guaranteed pay per day
• Schedule: Ad-hoc shifts, perfect for fitting around other commitments
• Payment: Weekly
• Holiday: Accrual with every shift
