Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes in accordance with the hotel’s menu and standards.
• Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff, ensuring they perform to the best of their abilities.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and local ingredients when possible.
• Ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, adhering to portion control and presentation guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, placing orders as needed to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen personnel to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share feedback and ideas for improvement.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-quality kitchen environment.
• Formal culinary training and qualifications from a recognized institution.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Excellent culinary skills and creativity in dish preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant preferred.
• Experience in managing kitchen staff effectively.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements is an advantage.
