We’re recruiting on behalf of a multi-award-winning gastropub, located in the charming village of Oxshott, Surrey.This celebrated establishment proudly holds 3AA Rosettes and has built a reputation for exceptional food, seasonal menus, and close collaborations with local artisans and producers. It’s a warm and welcoming environment that combines fine dining with the comfort of a classic countryside pub.If you’re passionate about beautifully crafted dishes, thrive in a creative and fast-paced kitchen, and want to be part of something special, this could be the perfect next step in your career.What You’ll Be Doing:Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in line with the gastropub’s refined seasonal menus.Supporting daily mise en place and service, working across multiple sections.Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation at all times.Collaborating with a close-knit team to deliver a consistent and elevated dining experience.Monitoring stock levels and working with the Head Chef to manage kitchen supplies.Assisting with the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff.What We’re Looking For:Previous experience in a high-quality kitchen, preferably within a rosette or fine dining environment.A strong foundation in classic techniques and a passion for fresh, seasonal cooking.A team player with excellent communication skills and a calm, can-do attitude.High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a genuine love of hospitality.A good understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and HACCP practices.Why You’ll Love It Here:Generous Salary: £32,000–£36,000 depending on experience.Tips: Excellent service charge/tips shared fairly among the team.Free Meals: Delicious, freshly prepared meals on shift.Staff Discounts: Enjoy generous discounts on food and drink when dining with us.Flexible Work-Life Balance: Mixture of day and evening shifts, with a fair rota and consideration for time off.Training & Career Progression: Work with a Head Chef passionate about developing talent.
