Job Description: Chef de PartieJoin the exceptional culinary team at the Hotel and Inn, located on the stunning shores of Devon. We are seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to contribute to our renowned dining experience in a beautiful, historic setting.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in menu planning and developing new recipes that reflect the restaurant’s style and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies, keeping track of inventory and minimizing waste.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving kitchen operations and guest experiences.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proficiency in various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for culinary excellence and a desire to continuously learn and develop skills.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
• Experience in fine dining establishments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of menu design and food presentation techniques.
