Pay:Class B: $24$26/hr DOEClass A: $26$30/hr DOEHours: 3050 hours/week depending on deliveries and seasonality
Start Date: ASAPWe are seeking a CDL A or B Driver for a seasonal-to-full-time position for our client, a well-established distribution company located in Scarborough, Maine. The CDL Driver will transport raw materials to and from manufacturing plants or distribution centers, ensuring timely deliveries and compliance with all DOT and company safety policies. The CDL Driver will succeed by being reliable, adaptable, safety-minded, and customer-focused. This is a seasonal opportunity with the intention of becoming full-time, located in Scarborough, Maine.As a CDL A or B Driver, you will be responsible for:Transporting raw materials safely and efficiently within a 200-mile radiusInspecting vehicles before and after each trip to ensure safety and roadworthinessPerforming basic preventative maintenancePlanning routes and maintaining delivery schedulesLogging driving hours, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery updates using company systemsAssisting with the loading and unloading of trucks using pallet jacks (team lifts for heavy items)Complying with all federal, state, and company driving regulationsReporting accidents, defects, or violations promptlyCommunicating clearly with dispatch and delivery personnelAdjusting to fluctuating schedules and start times, including occasional overnight and weekend shiftsThe ideal candidate for this role will have:A high school diploma or equivalentProven experience as a commercial truck driverFamiliarity with applicable DOT rules and truck safety regulationsStrong time management and organizational skillsThe ability to adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic or weather delaysA valid Class A or Class B CDLA current medical card (or ability to get one)A clean driving record with no recent violationsThe physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs (team lift available), and use pallet jacks safelyA safety-first mindset and attention to detailBenefits:Enjoy affordable health and prescription coverage with no waiting periodBenefits offered by the employer once hired permanentlyDental and life insurance availableAsk us about our Referral Bonus Program to earn extra cashReady to take the next step?
