We have an exciting opportunity available for Instructors to join us as key members of the Dinton Activity Centre team here at Wokingham Borough Council, on a casual basis.Dinton Activity Centre is a thriving local authority centre based with Dinton Pastures Country Park. The centre handles a footfall of around 20,000 people per year, so the place is very much alive during peak season. We have a fleet of 30 sailing boats and 90 canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. On land we have a low ropes course, bush craft area, a rock climbing and high ropes facility, two orienteering courses and a mobile climbing tower.Key Responsibilities:As an Instructor, you will:

• Support the delivery of activities such as taster sessions, school/youth group events, corporate days, school holiday activities and BC/RYA courses
• Assist with boat hire, offsite events, centre maintenance, and general administration / reception cover duties where necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum age of 16 years old
• Must hold one of the following qualifications: BCAB (Paddle UK) Paddlesports/SUP Instructor Award (or equivalent), RYA Dinghy Instructor, Climbing Wall Instructor (previously CWA), Archery GB Instructor or British Fencing Core Coach award
