Based from HMP Deerbolt and HMP Holme House, as a Careers Advisor you will deliver high quality and impartial in-custody careers information, advice and guidance. Working with offenders to explore their experience and skills, you will understand their aspirations and long-term goals and support them with their education and employment, both in-custody and through the gate.From supporting a learner’s induction into the prison and sharing information on the education and training available, through to developing Personal Learning Plans, delivering group Employability sessions and building relationships with local employers and key suppliers – we help our learners to see that their future is full of possibilities.This role will work across two HMP establishments: 2.5 days at HMP Deerbolt and 1.5 days at HMP Holme House.This is a Part Time role working 33.75 hours per week.What are we looking for?
