Job Reference: 44637We are hiring a Care Assistant (Days) for South Moor Lodge Care Home in Walkeringham. The role offers £11.96 per hour, with flexible hours: Full-time or Part-time options for shifts from 7am-7pm, 7am-3pm, or 3pm-11pm.About the Role: As a Care Assistant, you will be part of a committed team providing personal care and support to residents in their daily activities, such as washing, dressing, and eating. You will promote their independence with a focus on dignity, respect, and emotional well-being.Salary & Benefits:

• £11.96 per hour.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Support residents with personal care and daily living activities, ensuring their independence, dignity, and physical and emotional well-being.
• Complete Daily Charts to a high standard, aiming for 90%+ in Monthly Daily Chart Audits.
• Stay current on all mandatory training throughout the year.

Essential Requirements:

• Willingness to work towards a Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification.
• A passion for care or a strong reason for choosing a career in this sector.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the care home.

Preferred Requirements:

• One year of experience in a residential or nursing home setting.
• Level 2 Health & Social Care qualification or above.
