We’ve built a workplace where talent, collaboration and inclusivity are valued, and our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion helps cultivate an open, welcoming workplace where everyone who works with us can be themselves.IntroductionTo ensure that the hardware and software investment at Amwins Global Risks is utilised to its full potential.Support the Business Systems Team.Work with the Technology team and the Business to develop software solutions and resolve issues/inefficiencies.ResponsibilitiesBusiness SystemsLog all Development/Bug work for inhouse built systems on DevOps and adhere to our sprint structure.Ensure the logged issues are prioritised accordingly, informing Technology Managers to potential outages/critical issues.Co-ordinate and supply training and software updates with the Service Desk and Technology Managers on developed systems/processes.Adhere to robust change control procedures that are in place.Review Microsoft Power Platform release notes and inform team members of updated functionality.To take on projects that could be from other Technology departments when asked, and to plan, resource and deliver solutions in a professional and timely manner.Maintain professional communications to all involved when dealing with any issue or project.Utilise DevOps for change management of software.Keep up to date with the latest technology developmentKnowledge/Skills/QualificationsMicrosoft OfficeMicrosoft 365PowerPlatform (essential, proven experience)PowerAppsPowerAutomateProgramming.NET (not essential)Application Lifecycle ManagementAzure DevOpsWorkflow / VisioGood inter-personal skillsPresentation skillsProgramming.NET (not essential)Position in CompanyThe Business Systems Developer is a member of the Technology TeamThe post holder reports to the Business Systems Development ManagerThe post holder will work with employees (internal stakeholders) and organisations or companies (external stakeholders)
