Oak is designed to help solve these common challenges, amongst many others.We’re here to make communication simple for businesses.Why are we Hiring?We’ve had huge success partnering with global brands such as Natwest Group, Five Guys & Burger King, and are looking to continue on that trajectory.We established our Business Development team in October 2020, and in that time we’ve seen consistent growth year on year; both from a results perspective as well as consistently giving people the opportunity to progress internally.With that progress, we know there comes a need to hire even more great people!What you’ll be doing?Simply put; starting & generating conversations with people in our key target market, and finding live opportunities for our sales team to close.

• Proactively research & identify potential prospects where Oak Engage can offer value.
• Start conversations with decision makers however you choose! We’re not going to limit you to certain methods – we want your creativity.
• Educate prospects about Oak and the value it can provide
• Develop a deep understanding of our value proposition to be able to effectively communicate potential solutions to prospects pain
• Arranging & managing discovery calls; exploring whether a company may be a good fit as well as demonstrating why Oak Engage can add value.
• Qualify & arrange appointments with potential customers for our Sales Team.
• Maintain & expand your network within your assigned territory.
• Working closely with the marketing team, follow up on inbound enquiries, develop nurturing plans & share feedback on marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Reporting to our Head of Business Development within our marketing department.

RequirementsRight for the role?We’re looking for the right person who is:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong ability to engage and build relationships with prospects.
• Naturally inquisitive – ability to ask well thought out questions.
• Creative, with the ability to use your own initiative, you’re not afraid to push your comfort zone.
• Proactive.
• A good student & always looking at how to improve.
• Self aware.
• Organise, prioritise and manage your time effectively.

Desirable:

• Experience of B2B lead generation
• Knowledge of a typical sales process and familiarity with using a CRM & other prospecting tools.
• Experience in employee engagement / internal communications.
