Job Title: Business Change SpecialistSalary: The starting salary is £45,073, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.The salary is broken down as £42,232 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £50,385 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.Location: London and Hybrid (60% of your time you will work from a Met location, of which at least one day a week will be at your base location in Sydenham)Join our Transformation Team and make a difference.Are you experienced in working on complex business change initiatives?Do you want to play a pivotal role in delivering a radically new Met for London, embodying the principles and values set in our plan to deliver More Trust, Less Crime and High Standards and make a difference to millions of Londoners?We are looking for people who have experience in Business Change, wanting to work in a fast-paced environment, along with those passionate about making a real difference to our communities in London and our own workforce.Who we are looking for:We are looking for high calibre Business Change Specialists who have a passion for transformational change and a proven track record (minimum 3 years’ experience) in hands-on delivery of complex change initiatives.You will be proactive and take ownership of projects. Your lateral thinking, first class communication skills and robust stakeholder management skills will equip you to navigate complex challenges, drive collaboration and deliver project outcomes. You will be working in and contributing to a collaborative culture of continuous learning.We are seeking those that can offer leadership and expertise in business change that extends beyond standard business change processes.Application

Essential For The RoleEssential For The Role, e.g. qualifications, licenses, languages, trainingOur ideal candidates will have:
  • Significant experience in leading change initiatives across multiple or single programmes, which will have included conducting impact assessments and delivering activities to build change readiness.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to deliver solutions when met with challenging issues or situations.
  • Experience of influencing, negotiating with, and providing challenge to management-level stakeholders
  • Proven ability to engage with and manage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops and presenting complex information to varied audiences.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Flexible approach to work as it is likely that project allocations may change to suit operational requirements and deadlines.
