You must have the right to work in the UK – unfortunately we are unable to sponsor visas.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to support our product and development teams. This role will be responsible for managing JIRA, refining product requirements, and ensuring smooth execution of product initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in requirement gathering, backlog management, and sprint tracking, ensuring that our product and engineering teams work efficiently and effectively.This position is critical in freeing up operational workload within the product team, allowing for more focus on product strategy, process improvements, and company-wide AI initiatives. While this role is initially focused on execution and internal collaboration, there is potential for increased responsibility in roadmap execution and stakeholder engagement over time.Key Responsibilities:
- JIRA & Confluence Management – Fully own JIRA and Confluence, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and ticket lifecycle management.
- Requirement Gathering & User Stories – Work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and refine requirements into well-structured epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Sprint & Velocity Tracking – Monitor team velocity, manage sprint tracking, and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks.
- Implementation Roadmaps – Create and maintain Gantt charts, feature roadmaps, and execution plans to ensure on-time delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration – Engage with internal teams, including developers, designers, and product leadership, to refine requirements and ensure smooth delivery.
- Support Process Improvement & AI Integration – Assist in improving internal workflows, leveraging AI-driven efficiencies, and optimizing business processes.
Technical Experience:
- Backlog Management: Strong experience with JIRA & Confluence, including ticket lifecycle management.
- Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Ability to translate business needs into detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Hands-on experience working in Agile teams, supporting sprint planning, retrospectives, and velocity tracking.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to facilitate discussions, gather feedback, and refine product requirements collaboratively.
- Process Improvement: Exposure to workflow automation, process redesign, or AI- driven business optimizations is a plus.
- Data & Reporting: Experience in tracking sprint performance, creating dashboards, and monitoring team efficiency.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with AI concepts, RAG models, or machine learning integration.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, data analysis, or technical API documentation.
- Experience with QA/UAT processes to ensure high-quality feature delivery.
Candidate Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3+ years’ experience in Business Analysis, Agile Product Development, or Delivery Management.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and product lifecycle management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical teams.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process improvements.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines.Comprehensive benefits package available including the following:
