At HiBob, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional work experiences for our employees, who we affectionately call “Bobbers.”About The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our growing finance team in London. In this role, you will support the Financial Controller & the team with processing financial transactions, staff expenses, card cards, bank postings (multi-currency) & preparing balance sheet reconciliations for the UK & European sites of Hi Bob.Completed AAT Level 2 and a good understanding of double-entry bookkeepingAt least 1 or 2 years of accounting experience within a global company. High-tech / start-up companies – an advantageExperience with NetSuite – A big advantageMicrosoft office skills especially Excel & WordA team playerHighly organised, reliable with a strong attention to detailReconciling the bank accounts on a weekly basis and posting entries into NetSuiteProcessing supplier invoices and keeping the books up to date for the UK and European subsidiaries (inc. Netherlands, Germany, Portugal, Croatia & Denmark)Supporting the supplier management process –Communicating with external suppliersReviewing Purchase Orders & processing supplier invoicesWorking closely with relevant managers / requestorsPreparing and supporting the payment cycles for local and foreign suppliersReconciling supplier accounts, reviewing the ageing report & resolving queriesProcessing staff expenses (Nexonia) and credit card payments (PayEM).Collating the supporting documentation for our VAT Returns (UK & Europe), before submission to the relevant tax authorities and assisting with any queries.Supporting the monthly closing process i.e. accruals, prepayments, Balance Sheet reconciliations and FloQast working papersPreparing financial & administrative reports and ad hoc duties as requiredJoin our villageHiBob is a village filled with amazing people and we’re especially proud of that.
