Be part of it by applying for a position with us today.The Team:The Medical Authorization Centre (MAC) Pharmacy is responsible for making decisions concerning health needs for products that require authorization. In this role you will service various contracts and work as a member of an overall medical professional team.The primary goal of this unit is to provide positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology.Work location can be remote from home, and the hours of operation for this team range from Monday to Friday 7:45am to 5:00pm Atlantic Time (AT).
We work a 7.5 hour workday, a 37.5 hour work week: No overnight, No weekends.Key Responsibilities:· Make decisions concerning clients’ health needs for products that require authorization· Administer process for special authorization decisions through the interactive use of telecommunications and applied on-line POS technology· Utilize your medical background, knowledge and experience to render decisions· Liaison with the customers and other health care professionals to ensure treatment requests are appropriately administered

· Provide a positive and efficient customer service experience for providers and clients· Support positive health care outcomes through on-line case assessment using computer technology· You have the ability to work remotely, hybrid or in the office – let us know what works for you!Qualifications:Education: Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) LicenseWork Experience:-Have a minimum of 5 years nursing experience, including knowledge of medical conditions in relationship to pharmaceutical treatment-Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills-Multi-tasker and thrive in a fast-paced environment-Superior verbal communication skillsComputer Skills: possess strong computer skills or aptitudeLanguage Skills: Bilingualism (English and French) is requiredWe offer a best-in-class comprehensive total rewards package.
