Pay Rate: £89 – £105 per dayAre you passionate about supporting young people in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential? GSL Education’s North Yorkshire branch are seeking to urgently hire a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for an esteemed client school located in York, with the position commencing this upcoming Easter term of 2025.About the School:

• Supports students in developing positive behaviours and achieving academic, emotional, and social success.
• Promotes a safe, inclusive environment, fostering confidence and personal growth.
• Offers a tailored curriculum with vocational training and GCSE pathways.
• Encourages values like tolerance, respect, and individual liberty within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties.
• Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Build trusting relationships with students to foster their personal and academic growth.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with young people, especially those with challenging behaviour.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and empathetic approach.
• Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential).
