Position: Back-End Developer – Pyton and Big data (Hybrid)
Location: Montreal, QCWe are hiring a Back-End Developer for our client, looking to expand their Artist Products team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and support of a variety of applications and services, leveraging modern technologies and methodologies.What You’ll Do:– Collaborate with the Artist Products team to support multiple applications and services.
– Develop software using Python, Java, and SQL while adhering to best practices.
– Work with data structures, databases, and API development to build efficient systems.
– Ensure your code is well-structured, clean, and maintainable.
– Engage in team collaboration and contribute to ongoing projects in an agile environment.What We’re Looking For:– 3-5 years of practical experience in software development.
– Strong knowledge of Python, Java, and SQL.
– Understanding of data structures, databases, and API development.
– Experience writing well-structured, clean code.
– Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to understand and communicate in both languages.
– Familiarity with AWS is a big plus.
– Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.Nice to Have:– Experience with AWS services (e.g., DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda).
– Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Solr, Cassandra, Grafana, ElasticSearch.
– Experience with infrastructure management tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Framework).
– Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.Work Setup:– Hybrid: 2 days in the office (flexible – you can choose when to come in).
