Job DescriptionJob ID#:4527Job Category:SalesWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically inclined Associate Sales Engineer / Project Assistant to support our client’s team near Albany, NY. This role involves a mix of customer engagement, technical support, and project coordination, making it ideal for someone with a passion for clean energy, technology, and problem-solving.Responsibilities of the Associate Sales Engineer / Project Assistant will include:
- Conduct on-site assessments to evaluate customer needs
- Develop site maps and customized proposals, including technical specifications and cost estimates
- Monitor and manage customer software consoles to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support, resolving issues efficiently
- Work alongside the sales team to identify new business opportunities and guide customers through the product selection process
- Assist in project coordination, ensuring seamless implementation from start to finish
- Offer technical consultation to customers regarding system upgrades and maintenance
- Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends and competitive offerings
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Associate Sales Engineer / Project Assistant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Basic knowledge of electrical infrastructure, software systems, and troubleshooting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to customers
- Eager to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing client concerns
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
- Experience with software platforms and cloud-based monitoring
- Background in site assessment and system design
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership of projects and problem-solve independently
