We are hiring!Our Property Litigation team are in the market for an Associate to join the firm and support our clients across a range of sectors and Property Litigation matters. You would be working in our wider real estate department and have the ability to work with a broad range of clients, supporting fast paced matters. This role would ideally suit someone with some previous experience in property litigation who would like to continue to develop and grow their career in this area.The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing advice on time and to a high standard of technical competence in relation to property litigation matters
- Assisting with cases of dispute resolution by negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation, with an emphasis on the provision of cost-effective solutions
- The ability and willingness to support other areas of the practice where relevant e.g. providing support to our professional indemnity team
- Responsibility for running with their own caseload
- Alongside senior members of the team, maintaining and building client relationships
- Alongside the partners and senior members of the team, mentoring more junior team members
- Enthusiasm for the provision of marketing support e.g. presenting seminars, writing copy and reports, updating literature etc, supporting the firm’s sectors
- Achieving budgeted hours and fees for the year as a minimum
- Delivering an exceptional client service
- Undertaking any other duties as required, commensurate with the level of the post

- Excellent technical skills: able to provide clear, concise and commercially relevant solutions, explaining/advising succinctly on difficult and complex areas of property litigation
- Keen to maintain personal development and take advantage of training opportunities, keeping up to date with legal issues, law reports and journals together with legal developments and government policy within relevant sectors
- Good IT and keyboard skills, at ease with digital dictation, electronic time recording and case management systems
- An effective communicator and negotiator able to establish and maintain harmonious and professional relationships with clients and colleagues to deliver fast paced transactions

- A team player with high levels of personal commitment and initiative, recording time promptly to meet financial goals with a good track record in achieving targets
