The team has been together since 2016 and maintains a private equity style approach to sourcing, diligence and execution of investments. We manage approximately $2.5 billion in assets and are currently investing out of our second special situations fund as well as an opportunistic private credit vehicle. People and a collaborative culture are the foundation of our success, and it is our mission to hire, develop and retain the best talent in our industry.What we are looking for:We are looking for our next Associate, Distressed Credit for our London-based team!In this role you’ll analyze and execute new investment opportunities as well as assisting with portfolio monitoring. You are expected to have strong communication (verbal and written) skills, excellent modeling abilities, and be comfortable reading and understanding financial and legal documentation.You will be detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and have a passion for investing and learning about different business models. We are looking for someone with sound judgment and strong technical skills who is driven, humble, a self-starter and a good team player.Note that while this is a two-year program, there is a track record of promotion for strong performers.Responsibilities will include:Perform financial modelling and analysisConduct company and industry researchAssist with investment execution, including the creation of investment committee materialsPreparation of presentations and other written materials (including fundraising)Ability to present analysis and findings to team / investment committeeMonitoring of markets and current industry trendsPost-investment monitoring of portfolio investmentsInteract with management teams, advisors, and other constituentWhat you can bring:Prior experience as an investment banking analyst with at least one full year of experience in a restructuring, leveraged finance, M&A, or relevant industry groupPrior experience at a credit focused buy-side firm (e.g., hedge fund, direct lending, BDC, etc.) is a plusDisability Confident SchemeApplicants who opt in to the Disability Confident Scheme and meet the ‘minimum criteria’ for the role will be offered an interview.
