THE OPPORTUNITYIntroducing an exciting opportunity to join our Merchandising team and bring your analytical and people skills to the table.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with our talented Merchandising team and help ensure we have the right products, at the right time and in the right quantities. You’ll work closely with various teams including Design, Marketing, Ecommerce and Purchasing—to help build our product ranges and optimise stock levels for maximum profit. - Planning and forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve seasonal sales plans
- Monitoring department performance, identifying opportunities and highlighting risks to maximise sales and profit
- Overseeing stock levels and ensure the smooth performance of your department across all retail channels
- Preparing and plan for weekly, monthly and seasonal trade meetings, presenting insights and strategies
- Working closely with the Merchandiser to suggest promotions, markdowns and other commercial initiatives
- Collaborating with Design, Marketing, Ecommerce and Purchasing teams to effectively range plan for your department
- Managing the day-to-day operations of your Merchandising department, contributing through detailed analysis of best sellers, slow sellers and managing stock shortages
- Proactively suggesting process improvements and contribute to the enhancement of IT systems for better efficiency
- Continuously review and adapt processes to align with evolving business needs
- Coaching and mentor junior members of the Merchandising team, helping them grow and develop in their roles
- Supporting the team with any additional ad hoc tasks as required by the company
THE TALENT YOU’LL BRING
- Experience in a similar role such as Forecast Analyst, Assistant Merchandiser, or experienced Merchandising Assistant
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent system skills, with strong Excel proficiency essential. Familiarity with Oracle-based retail systems is an advantage
- A proactive attitude, with a commercial mindset and an innovative approach to problem-solving
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

- A salary of up to £28,000 per annum DOE
- 25 days holiday rising to 27 with length of service, plus bank holiday
