Overview:Asset Care Lead EngineerHumdinger, Sherburn LS25 6PJHumdinger are looking for a proactive and experienced Asset Care Lead Engineer to join our team and play a key leadership role on the factory floor.As the Asset Care Lead Engineer, you’ll be the go-to person on your shift for technical guidance and engineering leadership. You’ll attend daily operations meetings, work closely with Shift Managers to identify and proactively address issues impacting performance, and take ownership of breakdowns, handovers, and planned activities. This position is ideal for a time-served, multi-skilled engineer – ideally with an electrical bias (though mechanical bias with solid electrical understanding will also be considered). You will take the lead in driving performance, mentoring junior team members (including our apprentices), and partnering with the Shift Managers in managing day-to-day priorities.Position type: Full time, permanentShift Pattern: This role operates on a rotating shift pattern, including a mix of 12 hour Day and Night shifts with rest days.Pay range: £47,610.00 Responsibilities:
