SPTS operates across 19 countries in Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific, and offers comprehensive service and spare parts support through a worldwide network of service centers and qualified local agents.Job Description/Preferred QualificationsPurpose of the roleWorking closely with the Manufacturing Management Team, the Assembly Support Technician will keep material flowing to the shop floor i.e shortages, consumables, new builds. To be the interface between stores and manufacturing, clearing any day to day issues that arise between these departments and to keep materials and processes flowing with a lean operating system.This position is key to the performance and drive in a modern production environment. It offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to establish a career in a fast-growing, award-winning company with a clearly defined career development path.Working hours: Monday to Friday 6am-2pm (week 1) and 2pm-10pm (week 2). There may also be the requirement to work on a night shift basis.This position is a 6 month fixed term contract.Your day to day responsibilities will include:Shortage clearanceReplenishment of consumablesCompletion of jobs from work centersPulling of material on to the shop floorDelivering complete assemblies back to storesSPTS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
