The company is a well-known and respected builders’ merchants and offer a friendly, helpful and professional service to both trade and retail customers.WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING | Apprentice Tool Hire AssistantThe Tool Hire team are involved in the supply and maintenance of a wide variety of plant, machinery and tools to help customers build. From diggers and dumpers through to drills and small hand tools, the Tool Hire team are responsible for hiring out these products and servicing and maintaining them when they are returned. As part of your apprenticeship, you will learn how to provide excellent service to customers as well as growing your knowledge of the plant, machinery and products on offer. Throughout your apprenticeship, the company will provide training, support and development to ensure you get the best possible start to your career.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• As the Apprentice Tool Hire Assistant you will have the following skills:

• You will have good verbal and written communication skills

• As the role involves servicing and maintaining plant and machinery, an interest in mechanical products along with a full, clean driving licence is essential

• Self-motivated and confident with a positive attitude towards providing great customer service

• You must also be able to multi-task and meet deadlines

• Willing to complete the apprenticeship training course
