Application Engineer – Temp to HireA designer and manufacturer electronic packaging and systems is looking to hire an Application Engineer. This is a temp to hire opportunity in Lawrenceville, GA.Pay Rate of the Application Engineer:
$32/hrResponsibilities of the Application Engineer:

• Recommend solutions based on current products and customer requirements
• Provide product application engineering to support design (interface between Sales and Engineering)
• Prepare cost proposals and quotations for Regional Sales Manager
• Support RSM in preparing system configuration descriptions and other order specific configuration documents
• Provide technical support to customers
• Responsible for completeness of documentation to Engineering and provide prompt and effective feedback to Engineering on open technical issues from customers whenever needed

Qualifications of the Application Engineer:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in a high-tech manufacturing
• We require strong PC skills with MS Office, MS Project and PowerPoint.
• Experience with 3-D modeling software (Solid Designer) and AutoCAD software
• A technical degree is preferred
• Single Board Computer, Ethernet Switch, Storage and Software integration knowledge a plus. Sales experience a plus
• Organized with meticulous attention to detail
• Some understanding of contract review is necessary
