TITLE: ANNUAL GIVING AND MEMBERSHIP ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
LOCATION: McLane Center – Concord, NH
COMPENSATION: Compensation for this salaried, full-time position is $24 – $28 per hour, commensurate with experience. This position is eligible for NH Audubon’s generous benefit package, including paid time off (13 holidays, vacation & sick time), medical and dental plans, a health reimbursement agreement, retirement account with employer match, life and AD&D insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a NH Audubon annual membership, access to pro deals, and paid professional development opportunities. Mileage beyond normal commute reimbursed at current federal rate.
HOURS: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, one-hour lunch. Additional hours may be required as necessary.
SCHEDULE: 35 hours per week, full-time salary staff position. Schedule may vary according to needs and will include some evenings and weekends.
FUNCTION: This position will support the mission of New Hampshire Audubon: to protect New Hampshire’s natural environment for wildlife and for people, by increasing annual giving, expanding and diversifying the donor and member base, growing corporate sponsorships and partnerships, and strengthening relationships with current supporters. This role oversees the logistics of annual appeals, manages membership engagement and fulfillment, coordinates corporate sponsorship opportunities, develops donor stewardship initiatives, and implements strategies to encourage increased giving. Additionally, the position collaborates across departments to integrate donor engagement efforts, maintain accurate donor records, and support community outreach activities .

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Three years of office and fund-raising software experience required; Blackbaud/Raisers Edge or other relational database experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to make independent and coordinated decisions required. Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse community, as part of a team. Experience with spreadsheets, mail merge and word processing programs required. Previous experience working with volunteers in a non-profit setting preferred.
Skills, Traits and Characteristics Necessary for Success: Requires exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills including attention to detail, superior problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with the general public and a high degree of organization. Must have the ability to multi-task in a hectic environment, a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently, and a professional and courteous manner.
