Our core product is a Transaction Management Software that manages the new home sales process from lead capture, demand intake and analysis to closing and is built around our core inventory management and contracting system which is where we started.SummaryAvesdo has become the leader in new home sales technology in Canada and we are looking for a full-time Angular developer to join our talented engineering team. You will help build the software that powers the Avesdo OS using Angular, creating user-facing software solutions, and adding new features while fixing problems.As an individual contributor and an experienced professional, you will be expected to coach and lead junior developers and assist the Engineering Leadership Team in continuously improving capabilities for delivering software features following best practices.If you have hands-on Angular mastery, from core framework fluency to advanced state management, ensuring scalable web applications and you thrive in a fast-based sprint environment, this role is for you!Our Tech StackOur web-based platforms utilize modern frameworks such as Angular (we are currently using Angular 12) over the back end of a microservices-based API system built on the .NET core using serverless cloud architecture (Azure). We also have legacy applications built on Angular.js that occasionally need some love. We practice agile methodologies to release fast-evolving features and products in 2-week sprints.Job Status: Full-Time, Location: Remote Work (Remote applicants must reside in Canada and have valid Canadian work authorization)You will:
- Write clean, maintainable and scalable code to design and develop Angular components across web and mobile platforms
- Balance business goals, customer needs, and technological capabilities to create solutions that are scalable and future-proofed
- Work with UI/UX designers and backend developers to code multiple modules
- Participate in technical design and analysis within an Agile team
- Problem-solve, take decisions and deliver features in a fast-paced high functioning group
- Implement design patterns, optimization, caching, security and accessibility guidelines, while contributing to continuous improvement
- Take ownership of the development of custom features and drive their technical implementation
- Manage application state using Redux
- Develop and maintain documentation for new and existing features and integrations
- Perform root cause analysis on system/user errors and identify corrective action
- Provide highly effective code reviews and peer mentorship
- Learn the latest front-end technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best tools and techniques possible
- Be an advocate for and implement best practices in UX design, ensuring our applications are intuitive and easy to use
- Provide continuous competitive research, leverage industry resources and market trends to build software development skills
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior developers and Co-op students
You have:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or a related field
- 6+ years of hands-on development experience (Component-Based) as a Front End Developer
- Expertise in TypeScript with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with the Angular 2 Framework
- Strong hands-on experience with AngularJS
- Strong experience working in popular web technologies and frameworks like HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery
- Proficiency with Angular CLI, and state management patterns is also essential
- Hands-on experience consuming APIs/service integration
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Redux
- Ability to solve problems and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Experience with Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with Design sprints and conducting quick iterative design initiates
- Version Control with Git or bit bucket
- Passion for clean, reusable, and well-structured code and conducting quick iterative design initiates
- Knowledge of unit testing, end-to-end testing and QA practices
- Experience in Agile Scrum for rapid delivery of software builds in short sprint cycles

- Effective communication and articulation skills
