We are currently hiring an LTL Dispatcher to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON.Shift: 4:00pm-12:00am Monday-FridaySalary: $45,000-48,000/yearResponsibilities:
– Providing pickup/delivery/location information to drivers
– Monitoring trailers entering yard and monitoring driver progress/routes/hours of service
– Communicating service delays/failures and on route freight to appropriate department
– Reviewing, completing, and clearing dispatch board, hand over outstanding deliveries to night shift
– Ensuring correct volumes of equipment in the yard, facilitating equipment maintenance/emergency repairs
– Other duties as requiredQualifications:
– Previous Dispatch work experience within the Transportation industry (Minimum 3 years)
– Strong knowledge of dispatch operations and trucking regulations within the Transportation industry
– Knowledge of rail billing procedures
– Knowledge of CN website/web tools
– Knowledge of TruckMate
– Knowledge of Microsoft Office
– Good customer service skills
– Geographic knowledge of Greater Toronto Area
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
– Strong problem-solving skills
– Work well under pressure
– Good analytical skills
