Boddington is progressing with plans for construction of a new tailings storage facility. This will expand the current monitoring requirements for Boddington through the construction, commissioning and operational phases.
We are now seeking two Environmental Advisors to support the study team transition into construction. Initially supporting the current operations to learn the environmental monitoring and management processes currently utlised on site, you will transition to the apply this knowledge during the preparation and construction phase of RDA2 to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.
The Environmental Advisors will be the first port of call for environmental and permitting queries from the RDA2 project team.
Your Tertiary qualification in Environment (Environmental Engineering/Science Degree, Diploma of Natural Resource Management) together with your strong organisational skills and focus on continuous improvement is important.
You will have a proven track record of interpreting monitoring results and technical reports, for regulatory approvals and internal/external reports. Experience in exploration, rehabilitation, biological surveys, and incident reporting will be highly regarded together with a sound awareness of the relevant Mining and Environmental legislation.
You will be a proactive and effective communicator with the ability to work in a dynamic work environment engaging with internal and external stakeholders
