Advanced Network Security Analyst: Become the Newest Member of the VF Family

The Security Operations team is looking for a Senior Network Security Analyst who will play a vital role in keeping the VF Global Enterprise safe from cyber-attacks. As the Senior Network Security Analyst, you will Develop, implement, and enforce security policies to safeguard digital assets and mitigate information security risks. Investigate potential cyber-crimes or data breaches and perform regular security assessments to ensure compliance. Oversee firewall configuration, maintenance, and monitoring, as well as other network security measures. Evaluate and recommend security solutions for networking platforms. Provide user education on security protocols and offer consultations on security issues. Manage all aspects of network security throughout its lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide global technical support for deployed network security platforms.
• Configure, maintain, and monitor corporate firewall policies under Network Security Engineers’ guidance.
• Review and implement ongoing Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) updates.
• Monitor the performance and health of network security systems across the enterprise.
• Conduct security assessments and resolve network security issues.
• Perform proactive maintenance and operational tasks to ensure system functionality.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of network security devices, supporting lifecycle management.
• Analyze network traffic to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
• Stay informed on emerging security trends and technologies, providing product recommendations to leadership.
• Validate version statuses for deployed security products and policies.
• Assist with minor platform upgrades under the direction of Senior Network Security Engineers.
• Collaborate with security teams, IT departments, and stakeholders to achieve comprehensive network security.
• Oversee the accuracy and relevance of the network security document repository.
• Develop and document processes and procedures for the Network Security team.

Years of Related Professional Experience: 3-5 years

Educational/ Position Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, Equivalent years of experience in a similar industry may be considered in lieu of degree.

Position Requirements:

• Proven experience in network security analysis or related roles.
• Strong technical skills in managing and maintaining network security platforms/firewalls/VPNs/IDS/IPS and other security technologies
• Familiarity with industry standards, security protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.
• Ability to stay up on of the latest trends in network security.
• Working knowledge of Zscaler is a plus

Educational Requirements:

• An associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems/technology, or other related fields or commensurate hands-on experience.
• Cybersecurity or IT-related certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE, CompTIA Security+, GSEC, CISSP, or equivalent) are a plus.

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: 

• Minimal travel requirements
• Work in office location a minimum of three days a week
• After business hours support required on a scheduled rotation

Hiring Range:

$88,000.00 USD – $110,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
